2005
The World Congress on Engineering Asset Management (WCEAM) is the annual meeting of the International Society of Engineering Asset Management (ISEAM) and originated from a biennial series of the Asia-Pacific Conference on Systems Integrity and Maintenance (ACSIM) which ended in the same year (2005).

2006
The inaugural event of this new annual series began in 2006 in the Gold Coast in Australia. It was organised by the CRC for Integrated Engineering Asset Management (CIEAM), and the Maintenance Society of Australia (MESA) with strong support from the Intelligent Maintenance Systems Center (IMS), USA.

2007
In 2007, it was organised by the British Institute for Non-Destructive Testing in Harrogate, UK

2008
WCEAM was held in Beijing, China in October 2008 when it was organised by the Beijing University of Chemical Technology and the Intelligent Maintenance Systems Center, USA.

2009
The fourth in the series was organised by the Hellenic Maintenance Society, CIEAM and ISEAM and was held in Athens, Greece in September 2009.

2010
The 5th World Congress on Engineering Asset Management (WCEAM) was held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in Brisbane, Queensland in Australia from 25 – 27 October 2010. The Congress was held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Australian Green Infrastructure Council (AGIC) and was organised by CIEAM, IMS & NGInfra.
